Paul Salo

Since 1990 Paul has worked in Japanese and Chinese real estate investment banking, investment sales, disposition, equity placement, executive search and M&A activities across the region.   Efficient Equity provides innovative solutions to complex issues of investment sales, debt and equity financing, and Asian capital markets expertise to solve complex issues and challenges for clients.

Paul worked for 14 years primarily in Tokyo with ECA Japan the top foreign brokerage in sales volume and expertise.  He was exposed to and involved in assisting Japanese companies and institutions in the disposition of secured and unsecured debt and real estate, the arranging of non-recourse loans, in addition to sponsoring M&A activities.

In 2004 he co-founded Salo Homes in Shanghai (上海宝亭房地产经纪事务所) with Marion Wu.  Salo Homes Real Estate and Relocation specializes in sales and leasing of Chinese residential and commercial real estate to both domestic and international investors and is a full service expatriate relocation services provider.

He received a bachelor of Business Management from CSUF.  Mr Salo is a frequent guest lecturer on the Chinese real estate market on Chinese television and often quoted in print.  Paul is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and Japanese and has established a strong network of friends and clients in the region.
